We’re delighted to announce our first partnership with Turkish Airlines. In the run-up to Euro 2016 we’ll be creating a new series ‘Meet Europe’s Best’ – the ultimate football road trip . The series will see Copa90’s very own Eli Mengem visit 10 cities in 10 days, starting in Istanbul and ending in Paris the day before the tournament. His mission? Copa90 partners with BT Sport for Champions League

Copa90 partners with BT Sport for Champions League

BT Sport is showing the Champions League on YouTube for the first time in history. As one of the best football channels on YouTube, we were invited to meet BT Sport's biggest pundits (Gary Lineker and Rio Ferdinand) and we had a great time playing FIFA and Chill with them.

FIFA & Chill is our latest format and sees Comments Below presenters Poet & Vuj play FIFA with footballers and famous football fans. To date they've had over 20 people on the show, from Theo Walcott, Delle Alli, Ian Wright & Mahrez to grime artists Stormzy, Big Narstie and Wretch 32.

All episodes are now live on the channel and are viewable here.

Copa90 and ITV launch 'The Fans Daily'

We’re teaming up with ITV over the Euros to create a new show ‘The Fans Daily.’ The show will feature fan stories from each of the 24 competing countries, and will give viewers an insight into what each game means for fans watching in France and at home.

Each episode will be presented by Eli Mengem, supported by content from the Copa Creators, our invite-only creative community of talented football fans across the globe.

Footage will be then edited together through the night ready for the next morning and each episode will be aired on both the ITV Hub and Copa90’s YouTube channel, supported by social content covering fan stories as they break.

Beckham and Copa90 re-open adidas store

Last week we were lucky enough to be invited down to the re-opening of the adidas store on Oxford Street, where Poet & Vuj got to interview the one and only David Beckham, alongside Copa90 favourite Stormzy.

Poet & Vuj asked Becks a load of questions from the Copa Fam and were finally able to get to the bottom of some serious issues...including the haircut Becks regrets the most. To view the full interview, please click here.

Copa90 in the Independent

Copa90 in the Independent

The Independent's Ian Burrell came and spent a bit of time with Copa9, at the so-called 'Derby of Love' in Vienna and at our London offices in Exmouth Market. Aside from brilliant descriptions of our team, (Martino Simcik Arese, a gangling 26-year-old Italian-American with an encyclopaedic knowledge of football fan culture, Scott Dulson ...known as “Bumbag” because of his need for portable gadgetry) he had a load of lovely things to say about us. Fireball football...yes really

Fireball football...yes really

We've had a lot of crazy ideas, but none of them have looked this good... Last week we got the UK's best freestylers to perform their usual routines with great balls of fire. Freestyle World Champion Andrew Henderson, Red Bull World Champion Melody Donchet and  free-kick specialist Valtteri Jormanainen all got involved and the results were spectacular (if we do say so ourselves.)

Other people seem to have liked it too, to date it’s seen over 2.5 million views across SPORTbible, Bleacher Report, Eurosport, Joe.co.uk, TalkSport, 101 Great Goals, Sport 360, RLdesignz, USAToday, CBS Sports. Even Discovery Channel Canada asked to feature it.

How we make great social content: Copa90 profiled in Digiday

How we make great social content: Copa90 profiled in Digiday

Some great coverage for Copa90 in Digiday,  profiling a day in the life of our very own Michael Timbs, one of Copa90's star team of Social Content Creators:

“The young football fan has grown up in a world of billionaire owners, rising ticket prices and huge TV deals,” said Michael Timbs, social content creator for Copa90. “The fans are being overlooked and under-appreciated, and football is nothing without its fans.”
To that end, Copa90 produces content for YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter as well as their own website. Which means Timbs, the social media voice of Copa90, spends his days talking to its 10 million social media followers. Increasingly, this plays out on Snapchat, where it has amassed 50,000 followers in the 10 months it’s been on the platform.
